Adverting to your letter of the 27th February 1919, I ragret having to again bother you, but I am writing to know if there is any immediate prospects of a barth being obtained for me for Hong Kong, as I am now out of employment and find i impossible to obtain any temporary employment owing to the market in my line being overstocked.

If there is no early prospect of my being vent I would most respectfully ak that a subsistence allowance may be allotted to me until such time as a berth can be obtained, as I cannot draw the unemployment pay having a situation already obtained
